A few good reasons to go
- Give arrival day to settling in
- Choose one outing that suits the whole group
- Protect time for meals, play and doing nothing
Let arrival be enough
Leave the first afternoon free of tickets and ambitious driving plans. Give people time to choose rooms, unpack and find what they need. Aashiyana’s six bedrooms make it possible to stay together while keeping some personal space. Decide early who needs a quieter room and where bags will go; small arrangements now can prevent the evening becoming a series of practical questions.
Choose the full day’s one outing
Over breakfast, choose a cave visit if the group is comfortable with the approach, or Sunil’s museum if an indoor town stop is a better fit. Pick Karla or Bhaja rather than automatically doing both. Save the correct venue location and confirm entry before leaving. A chikki stop can be added if everyone still feels like it, rather than become another compulsory stop.

Before leaving, agree on what would make the outing comfortable: water, a meal before anyone gets too hungry, a shorter walk or a clear meeting point. If some people prefer to remain at the villa, make that an equally good option. A family holiday works better when a decision to rest is accepted without needing a long explanation.
Make the return part of the plan
Leave the afternoon open for pool time within the house rules, a pool-table game or simply sitting together. Keep one meal as a shared anchor rather than scheduling every hour. Confirm any cooking or meal arrangements with the host in advance. Avoid promising children another big activity immediately after the outing; an ordinary afternoon together can be the part they enjoy most.
Keep the last morning light
Pack most things the previous evening and leave breakfast easy to organise. Check the agreed checkout time, do a quick room-by-room sweep and allow the driver time to load up. Buy any gifts before this final morning if possible. A departure without a last-minute sightseeing mission gives the weekend a calm ending and leaves something to look forward to next time.
